Florida State Rep. Anthony Sabatini (R) always finds a way to aggravate liberal and progressive Democrats and his recent announcement that he would be filing a bill to rename U.S. 27 after President Donald Trump, who he believes is arguably one of the "greatest presidents," made Florida Democratic heads explode.

Rep. Sabatini tweeted that he was “looking forward to working” on what he believes is an “important designation honoring one of the greatest Presidents in American History.”

The tweet triggered his detractors including some of the more prominent progressive activists in Florida. It also brought out Billy Corben, a D-lister, Hollywood type that went as far as to call Sabatini a racist.

“Florida racist wants to honor Florida racist,” stated Corben

Sabatini told The Floridian that the renaming of the highway “ a great way to say thank you “ to the former president.

“Florida should be the first state in the nation to honor our great President with a U.S. Highway—I think it’s a great way to say thank you to a guy that put America-First for the last 4 years,” stated Sabatini.
