It’s still too early to say if Anthony Rubio (#1) will follow in his father's (Sen. Marco Rubio) footsteps and take a stab at politics, but one thing is for certain, the younger Rubio could see his and his father’s dream of football stardom come true.
Rubio, a sophomore highschooler, played his first Varsity football game this past weekend, where the Barry Sanders-Esque runner racked up 140 yards and a touchdown on only 9 carries.
Will Anthony Rubio play for his father’s beloved Miami Dolphins.
First things first, Rubio must shine at the college level.
But even though he’s only a sophomore, Rubio's highlight reel is nothing less than impressive and filled with a slew of ankle-breaking cuts, spin moves, and 4.59/40 yard speed.
Here is a highlight clip of Rubio’s first Varsity game.
