Progressive Pam Keith crosses out 'GOD' to attack Brian Mast

Democratic congressional candidate Pam Keith is trying just about everything to win her race against Rep. Brian Mast (R) in Florida’s 18^th congressional district.

Shortly after Mast released a campaign promotion meme in response to a recent altercation he had with an ANTIFA mob outside of the White House, Keith used the meme in her own political campaign advertisement but fell short in her efforts because of the name she targeted.

Keith crossed out the name of “God” and replaces it with “Donald Trump,” a move her campaign probably believes would energize the Democratic Party’s base of support, the same base that supports and is also comprised of the same "mob" that confronted Mast.

Mast quickly responded to Keith, tweeting at her, saying “you can cross out God from this graphic but you cannot cross out God from my life or His teachings of peace, love, and justice from our world.”

The optic of crossing out the name of God could prove to be ill-conceived. The move won’t win Keith any Republican votes but could lose her precious NPA voters that may have been on the fence at this juncture in the race.

Keith's recent statement implying that President Trump was going to be killed won’t be helping her garner any more Independent votes either.

Mast won reelection in 2018 by a 10-point margin.
