Anti-Trump Republicans known as The Lincoln Project released an ad celebrating the news of presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s running mate selection of Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), praising the California Senators as a “strong voice for a better America.”
“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris is the America we believe in, where hard work means more than family wealth, where compassion and kindness are strengths, not weaknesses,” the one-minute ad narrator says. “This is the America of our better angels. The best of America — strong, compassionate, determined. On November 3rd, a new beginning.”
The ad describes the California Senator as a “daughter of immigrants, a passion for justice, a happy warrior in the battle for the soul of America.”
In another tweet, the group shared a photo of Biden and Harris hugging, with the caption reading #ThePeoplesTeam.

Known as “The Lincoln Project,” the group PAC was formed by anti-Trump RINO GOP operatives with its sole purpose to prevent the re-election of President Trump by creating campaign ads attacking Trump. They also turned to electing Democrats, targeting republicans whom they believe are enablers of the President.
The group is also going after GOP senators who are up for re-elections with relentless negative campaign ads, including Sens. Lindsey Graham (SC), Joni Ernst (IA), Martha McSally (AZ), John Cornyn (TX) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (KY), according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings. So far, they have spent more than $1.3 million targeting one of the most GOP Senators up for reelection — Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, the most of any of the Senate candidates the group has invested in ads.
Besides going after Trump and GOP Senators, the group are running ads supporting numerous Democratic Senate candidates, including Senate candidate Steve Bullock of Montana who is seeking to unseat Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) and Al Gross of Alaska who is challenging Sen. Dan Sullivan, as well as planning a “substantive and robust” effort to encourage voters to vote by mail-in ballots.
Republicans are firing back against the disgruntle former GOP “grifter” operatives, calling the group a “scam PAC” that has funneled millions to its advisory board members while hiding its money trail by hiring vendors with close ties to its founders.
“The Lincoln Project is comprised of grifters who are nothing more than agents of the Democrat Party,” Republican National Committee spokesman Steve Guest said in a statement. “Above all else, these political opportunists are solely concerned with making a quick buck for themselves.”
