Anti-Socialist "MAGA Meetup" addresses Biden's support of Socialism

Share

With the 2020 election around the corner, both President Trump (R) and former Vice President Joe Biden (D) have received their share of criticism. However, because the sunshine state is a battleground state that President Trump won in 2016, the Biden campaign is looking to sway the state and convince it to vote in the election. But the Trump team isn’t worried about a potential “blue wave,” arguing that support for Trump is only growing in the state.

“Enthusiasm in the Latino community here in Florida for President Trump continues to grow, and it’s very rampant here in the sunshine state,” listeners were informed in a virtual “MAGA Meetup," which is one of several events that have been scheduled to not only. engage the community but to also incite support for the President's reelection bid. As an example, in 2016, there were "1.5 million voter contacts by Election Day." Four years later, "in this cycle, we've done over 12 million."

In the event, a panel of speakers were invited to share their stories with communism. The group of panelists slammed Biden and what his administration would look like for being sympathetic towards communist policies.

"We Cubans more than anybody else know what communism is and what socialism is," informed Felix Rodriguez, one of the panelists. He went on to stress that "this election is the most important one for this country." He slammed Senator Bernie Sanders (I) for "taking over the platform of the Democratic Party," and he warned that Biden's recent gaffes should concern voters.

Other panelists included Rosa Maria Maya, Ernesto Ackerman, and Patsy Sanchez, who provided information on what a communist regime looks like, relaying personal stories as to how the Castro regime affected their lives and the Cuban people as a whole.

"This regime has nothing to offer. Not economically, not socially, not spiritually to the Cuban people," argued Maya, warning that the same could be experienced if the United States should elect Biden as President on November 3rd.

Ackerman, a Venezuelan-American activist who fled Venezuela in 1989, addressed the only choices he felt voters had on November 3rd, saying  "we need to vote for President Trump because we only have two choices. Do we stay in capitalism, or do we turn this country to socialism, where we’ll see the worst coming for this country.”

Sanchez, who was the 2016 Tampa Hispanic Heritage Women of the Year and fled Communist Cuba in 1980 as a teenager, criticized Biden’s potential running mate, Karen Bass, for her support and adoration of Fidel Castro. Patsy explained, “I am at the opposite side of Congresswoman Bass, as she mourned the death of Castro… I celebrated that momentous occasion. For me, it was not the death of a person, it was the death of another totalitarian dictator, that had oppressed my people for so many years, responsible for so many deaths, and for the separation of so many families. To me, it was worth celebrating.”
