Ted Cruz takes on Obama, News Media, and World Health Organization

Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) had some choice words to share on Twitter in response to comments that President Barack Obama (D) made about the Republican Party, and responding to comments made by CNN's Jim Acosta.

In his endorsement of Vice President Joe Biden (D) for President, President Obama blasted Republicans, saying that “the other side has a massive war chest. The other side has a propaganda network with little regard for the truth.”

Texas Senator slammed the President’s comments.

He argued that “Dems only have 8 of the 10 richest American billionaires – including Bloomberg, Bezos & the Google founders – plus Soros & Steyer.”

The former 2016 Presidential candidate also added that Democrats have “ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, WaPo, NYT & just about every other newspaper in America.”

So, the Texas Senator questioned, “how can we compete on $$ and propaganda?”

As well, Senator Cruz also commented on the growing tension between the World Health Organization and the Trump administration, which reached its peak this week as President Trump announced that funding for WHO would be halted.

CNN Reporter Jim Acosta, who has been involved in consistent back-and-forths with the President, took to Twitter to express that “Trump is accusing the WHO of mishandling the Coronavirus pandemic while avoiding his own failures on the subject.”

Responding to CNN’s Acosta on Twitter, Cruz dismissed “reporting” from the WHO, saying that it is “fraudulent” and that Acosta is not “acknowledging the WHO’s blatant schilling for the” Chinese Communist Party.
