Mucarsel-Powell warns Florida will burn like Australia

Share

The raging wildfires in Australia that have left 24 people dead, hundreds of thousands of animals dead or displaced, are being partly blamed on Climate Change.

Florida Congresswoman Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D) warns the images coming out of Australia “will be” the future of America if Americans “do not take action to curb the effects of climate change.

“I’m heartbroken seeing these images of Australia,” stated Mucarsel-Powell “This will be our future if we do not take action to curb the effects of climate change immediately. From South Florida to Australia, we do not have time to wait.”

Florida may not actually burn like Australia but Climate Change could cause indigenous wildlife to die.
