Byron Donalds' Congressional Candidacy Goes Fox News

Share

Republicans continue to gear up with a contentious 2020 election season, and the newest candidate to hit the airwaves is Byron Donalds, who is not shy about his conservative views and his staunch support of President Trump.

In an interview with Fox News, Donalds did not hold back from showing what he stands for.

He was introduced as “the self-described gun-owning, liberty loving, pro-life politically incorrect black man who turned his life around from the streets to The State Capitol and is now running for U.S. Congress.”

Donalds is running to keep Florida’s 19th congressional district red after it was announced that Florida Rep. Francis Rooney (R) would not be seeking a reelection bid.

When he announced his candidacy for the seat, Donalds released a video commenting that he is “everything the fake news media tells you doesn’t exist.”

He enters a crowded Republican field that also includes Heather Fitzenhagen and Dane Eagle, and Donalds assures that he wants to work closely with President Trump to “deliver the President’s common sense criminal justice reforms.”

On Twitter, Donalds shared his interview with Fox News.
