Rep. Tulsi Gabbard Excluded From Democrats' "Unity" Video

In a new advertisement released by the Democratic party titled "Unity," a number of the candidates are filmed making a plea to voters. However, one candidate that was omitted is Hawaiian Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D), who’s made waves since announcing her campaign, and recently she was criticized for voting present in the impeachment effort against President Trump.

She’s been called a Russian asset and has argued that she would drop charges against Edward Snowden and Julian Assange, most recently, Neil Abercrombie, the former Governor of Hawaii, called for her to resign from her post because she is “not able to do the job for the 2nd district.”

In the advertisement, candidates from Democratic Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders to Senator Elizabeth Warren (D) tells viewers that “no matter who ends up on that stage as our nominee in the convention, we need the whole Democratic Party to unite if we want to take back the White House and win seats all across the country and deliver a presidency consistent with our Democratic values.”

They add that “unity is what this moment in history demands of us right now because the stakes have never been higher,” noting that “as Democrats, we know there is so much more that unites us than divides us.”

According to a survey from Morning Consult, Gabbard stands as the Democratic field’s “most disliked candidate.”

Previously, the "most disliked candidate" was former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg (D) who's recently found himself in controversy regarding his campaign exploiting prison labor for campaign calls.
