Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) becomes the first 2020 Democratic presidential candidate to suggest that if Israel continues to increase settlements, then “everything (including sanctions and reduction of aid) is on the table.
When asked about Israel, Sen. Warren told reporters that “It is the official policy of the United States of America to support a two-state solution, and if Israel is moving in the opposite direction, then everything is on the table. Everything is on the table."
As one can imagine, pro-Israel legislators like Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) questioned Warren and Democrats threat “to cut off support for Israel” if PM Benjamin Netanyahu does not “cut a deal” with the Palestinian Authority.
"This is the alternative they want Republicans to switch to?" stated Rubio "Help elect a President who threatens to cut off support to #Israel if they don’t cut a deal with an organization whose mission is to destroy the Jewish state?"
