Over the years, politicians have often gone to extremes to draw attention to themselves, or to promote their respective political campaigns.
We all remember the Michael Dukakis Tank helmet (D) moment or the time when Sen. John Kerry (D) wore a condom-looking space suit, right?
Well, apparently looking like a male contraceptive is not the coolest or most denigrating thing to do as an elected official.
The 'in' thing to do is to plaster one's face on a condom wrapper like Florida state Legislator Anna V. Eskamani (D) did.
In a move to promote the upcoming Orlando Pride weekend, Eskamani is out passing these “exciting” condoms.
Wait, wasn’t Gay Pride month back in June?
“We’re prepping for Orlando Pride this weekend, and will have some exciting swag to give away! I mean, who doesn’t want a free condom with my face on it,” tweeted Eskamani
Umm, No. No one wants to see that.
If Eskamani believes this is a great move to draw attention to herself, she would be right.
What’s next?
Will Eskamani now start putting her face on dildos and lube bottles?
