O'Rourke suggests Trump inspired by Nazi Germany propaganda

Share

In his continued effort to keep his 2020 presidential aspirations relevant, fmr. Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke (D) suggested that President Trump may have been inspired by Adolf Hitler’s propaganda henchman, Joseph Goebbels.

O’Rourke, who is currently polling at 2 percentage points among the field of remaining Democratic presidential candidates, made the remark during an interview with MSNBC host Al Sharpton.

"President Trump, perhaps inspired by Goebbels and the propagandists of the Third Reich, seems to employ this tactic that the bigger the lie, the more obscene the injustice, the more dizzying the pace of this bizarre behavior, the less likely we are to be able to do something about it," he said.

O’Rourke questioned President Trump’s “bizarre behavior,” but apparently does not see anything wrong with his “bizarre” behavior of equating Trump, or anyone, to a mass murderer.

The latest move by O’Rourke appears to be just another campaign gimmick to draw attention to his fledgling campaign.

Recently, O’Rourke has defended late-term abortion, took smiling selfies after a mass shooting in El Paso, and vowing to confiscate weapons from Americans.
