Has his ship sailed? Is the Fat Lady beginning to tune up her vocal cords on Joe Biden's campaign?
Don't count Joe Biden out just yet, but things are not looking good for his chances of winning the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren has officially surpassed (barely) Biden as the frontrunner in the race, as the Massachusetts senator now leads in the average of all public opinion polls, which includes the latest Quinnipiac poll that has Warren leading Biden by 3 percentage points.
"As I’ve traveled this country, I’ve heard the human stories from frontline communities," tweeted Warren "Families where many people have cancer. Coastal communities facing the threat of rising sea levels. Ruined land and poisoned water. These communities need justice—and I will stand with them."
While Warren is focusing on pushing her message, Biden has been bogged down President Trump's call that he and his son Hunter's business dealings in China and Ukraine be investigated.
Biden has now gone on offense, focusing his campaign on pushing back against Trump's allegations that he helped get a Ukrainian prosecutor fired to help his son's company Burisma.
Biden is off message and having difficulty raising money.
