Florida's most miserable cities to live in

Share

Florida is tops in the nation in many things, but as Floridians boast about all the gains or “winning” they have done over the past 8 years or so, they must also take good with the bad.

The website Business Insider compiled a list of the Top 50 most miserable cities to live in, and Florida has the third most behind New Jersey and California,

The information used is based on the most recent U.S. census information that includes the median household income, median commute times, percentage of people living without healthcare, and percentage of people working.

In other words, the cities that made it on the list are all-but poor cities with a high minority population. The most miserable city is Gary, Indiana, but which are the cities in Florida that are deemed less than desirable to live in?

To those living in south Florida, seeing that 4 of 6 most miserable cities to live in Florida are wholly in Miami-Dade County, is not a surprise.

The Cuban-American enclave of Hialeah is tops in Florida as the most miserable city. The city's slogan is "The City of Progress."

Funny.

Here are the Florida cities as they are ranked in descending order:

#37-Hallandale Beach-

#34-Fort Pierce

#33- North Miami Beach

#28-Miami Gardens

#25-North Miami

#13-Hialeah
