Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) was quick to counter the 2020 presidential candidate and Senator Bernie Sanders’ tweet slighting President Donald Trump, asserting that the president the not believe in the “United States Constitution.”
“Maybe I'm old fashioned,” tweeted Sanders “But I believe we should have a president who believes in the United States Constitution.”
Gaetz counter tweet mocked Sanders and his socialist, tweeting “Maybe I’m old fashioned. But America will never be a socialist country.”

But while Gaetz’s tweet gave many Trump supporters comic relief, a tweet from one of Sanders’ supporters praising the elder senator and equating him to God, maybe given them an even bigger laugh.
“You are a reflection of God in America, @BernieSanders,” tweeted the supporter.
Sen. Sanders’ is recovering from a heart attack he suffered last week and recently bested the entire filed of 2020 Democratic field in fundraising.
