Registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been arrested in New York on new sex-trafficking charges stemming from allegations that date back to the early 2000’s, and Florida Congresswomen Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) couldn’t be happier.
Rep. Wasserman Schultz has been calling for “justice” for the young underage girls that were sexually assaulted by Epstein, and quite possibly assaulted by some of his friends who d hold significant political and social status, including President Bill Clinton.
Initially, the call for justice was made because acting U.S. Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta and Trump appointee, negotiated a “non-prosecution” deal with Epstein when he was U.S. attorney in southern Florida.
Acosta’s deal with Epstein was nothing less than a cream puff agreement.
Epstein was only obligated to plead guilty in state court to two counts of felony prostitution, and serve an 18-month jail term.
Epstein served 13-months of the sentence, was allowed daily “furloughs” to be able to go to his office, register as a sex offender, and pay his three dozen victims restitution.
Wasserman Schultz is very close to the Clintons, but has yet to mention the former president in any of her Epstein statements.
According to court records, Clinton flew on Epstein’s private jet dubbed the “Lolita Express” some 26 times. Several of those trips Clinton flew on were to Epstein’s notorious 72-acre estate in the Virgin Islands.
Epstein’s arrest could implicate many of his friends and cohorts, including Clinton.
Democratic National Committee (DNC) operative and daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Christine Pelosi, forewarned Americans that some “faves” were likely implicated.
"This Epstein case is horrific and the young women deserve justice," Pelosi tweeted. "It is quite likely that some of our faves are implicated but we must follow the facts and let the chips fall where they may - whether on Republicans or Democrats."
This could investigation and subsequent case could see the fall of many high profile political operatives, attorneys, and handlers, and quite possibly a U.S. President.
Remember Wasserman Schultz, Pelosi, and other Democrats and Republicans believe that “no one is above the law, not even the president.”
