During his much anticipate press conference of the findings of the Mueller Report, U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr has reiterated that there was no collusion between then-candidate Donald Trump, his campaign, or any American, with Russia or any Russian entity.
Upon concluding the press conference, Barr released the entire 448-page (redacted) Mueller Report for all Americans to read.
While congressional Democrats scramble to find a silver lining in the newly-release Mueller Report, and continue to paint President Trump as a compromised and destructive president, Americans aren’t necessarily buying the bag of goods Democrats are selling about the president.
Trump’s disapproval rating in the latest public opinion poll is at 52%, while his approval rating is at 44%.
The Real Clear Politics average of polls for the month of April has trump at 44% with Gallup polling him at 45% between April 1-9, 2019.
Looking back at Gallup’s polling of President Obama during the first week of April 2019, Obama also polls at 45%, but dips to 43% in the closing days of the month.
If you want to go by the comparison of polls between Trump and Obama, the argument can be made that Trump is in good re-election shape.
Now couple those polls with the fact that his 2020 Democratic presidential opponents have all taken a very hard left ideological turn, a turn that Obama himself has shown concern over, then a Trump second term could all be assured.
