Sanders, other Democrats gear up for 2020 presidential run

With Americans being less than a month removed from the 2018 mid-term elections, who will challenge President Trump in 2020 is the talk around the country.

Yeah, border security, government shutdowns, trade, and the economy, are all part of the daily political conversation, but challenging Trump seems to be the focus of many media outlets, pundits and congressional Democrats.

It is expected that 20 or more Democrats will run for president in 2020, including Senators Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, and Bernie Sanders.

Sanders was cheated out of the nomination in 2016, and with the kind of grassroots following he has amassed, why shouldn’t or wouldn’t he make another run for president?

Sanders isn’t ruling out or denying a future run.

His 2016 presidential website is still up and running, a sign that the Vermont Senator could be gearing up for another run for the Oval Office.

Sanders is promoting his  re-election to the senate in 2018, so there is a possibility he stays that course.

Hillary Clinton, Sander’s 2016 presidential primary opponent, is also rumored to be considering another run as well.

Her campaign website is also up, and from the looks of it, Clinton is also revving up her campaign engines.

Other notable and potential Democratic presidential candidates are former HUD Secretary Julian Castro and former Vice President Joe Biden.
