Democrats lead Republicans in all generic polls

With all the latest “generic polls” showing a large advantage for Democrats over Republicans in the 2018 midterm election cycle, is it time for the GOP to cut their losses and start licking their wounds?

There is a good chance this isn't going to happen.

The latest ABC/ Washington Post survey gives Democrats an 11-point advantage, but in close R-leaning and “toss-up” congressional and senatorial seats, Republicans appear to have the momentum to put them over the top.

From the looks of it, Republicans will retain the senate and quite possibly pick up a few seats in the process. As for the House, Democrats are poised to take control, leaving most Americans fearing an imminent impeachment of the president.

Many Democratic lawmakers have either signaled or openly advocated for President Trump’s impeachment.
