Democratic Senator continues pushing Kavanaugh rape narrative

On the eve of a history and controversial vote to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States, Democratic Senators are pulling out all the stops in defiance to the likely 'Yes" vote this week.

With the FBI investigation into the sexual assault allegations concluded, Republicans have moved swiftly to vote, as several undecided or skeptical Senate Republicans signaling that they would support Kavanaugh's nomination.

Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee, tweeted a statement of an alleged rape victim equating her rapist and Kavanaugh.

Democratic Senator Joe Manchin, who is probably the biggest swing vote on the nomination, could very well be the only Democrat crosses over. Manchin is from West Virginia and up for re-election. The overwhelming majority of West Virginians support Kavanaugh's nomination.
