Bob Woodward, The Washington Post’s associate editor, has penned a book about what he as allegedly learned about the President Trump and his administration.
The book is titled, "Fear: Trump in the White House."
Woodward contends that his book is factual and was written off of hundreds of hours of “deep background” interviews with individuals privy to what was going on behind closed doors at the White House.
Woodward also cites notes he had taken in private meetings, government documents, and some personal diaries, as being sources for his book about President Trump.
President Trump has denounced the book as being fictional, and points to the strong statements made by some of his go-to men that Woodward quoted in the book.
Trump’s COS John Kelly calls the book as being “total BS.”
Trump later took questions from reporters during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, reasserting that the book was fictional, and adding that the book was released to interfere with the hearings.
