With less than two months before Floridians head to the polls to vote for their next governor, Democrat Andrew Gillum is showing signs of possibly pulling away from Republican Ron DeSantis.
The latest Reuters-Ipsos-UVA Center for Politics poll has Gillum leading DeSantis by margin of 50 percent to 44 percent.
Should Republicans we concerned?
The answer is probably yes.
Remember, politics is a fluid business, and anything can happen.
Historically, Democrats do not turn out to vote in mid-term elections as they do during presidential contests, so there is a good chance for Republicans this latest Reuters poll could just a flash in the political pan.
