Mixed congressional response to Trump relocating U.S. embassy to Jerusalem

President Trump’s decision to move the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem was met with widespread violence along the Israeli-Palestinian border that left dozens of protesters dead and injured.

The embassy move was greeted with a mixed back of support and opposition. The world community (expectedly) denounced Trump’s decision, while Americans and Israelis for the most part, didn’t.

Democratic members of the U.S. Congress were visibly absent from the ceremony in Jerusalem, while a handful of their Republican colleagues attended the historic relocation of the embassy.

It wasn’t until after the ceremony concluded that only a few Democrats began to opine about moving the embassy to Jerusalem. Republicans like Reps. Ron DeSantis and Mario Diaz-Balart  have been openly expressing their support.

Here is what Florida’s congressional delegation is saying about the new location of the U.S. embassy in Israel.
