Kyle Kashuv Endorses Ron DeSantis for Governor

Since the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting occurred, David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez have been leading the movement calling for stricter gun control, and yesterday Hogg called for a 'die-in' to take place in Publix locations after Publix endorsed NRA backed Adam Putnam for Florida Governor. On the other hand, Kyle Kashuv has been leading the cause of defending 2nd amendment rights, and he's now lending his support to Congressman Ron DeSantis by endorsing him to replace term-limited Florida Governor Rick Scott.

In a tweet, Kashuv announced that Congressman DeSantis is the only candidate that can "DRAIN the FLORIDA SWAMP," but he didn't specify what aspects of the "SWAMP" he was referring to.

His full tweet explained that "The great @RonDeSantisFL @RepDeSantis is running for Florida governor; we NEED to make sure he WINS. As we’ve seen, we need to DRAIN the FLORIDA SWAMP and there’s no one better to do it than Rep. DeSantis. He’s got my family’s vote and I hope he’ll get yours.”

This is a major endorsement for the congressman, who was also endorsed by President Donald Trump, and it comes at a time when support for gun control has been dwindling down.

Kyle Kashuv gained prominence after he became an outspoken critic against gun control, and he's since involved himself in arguing that guns aren't the problem.
