Advertisement Campaign is Launched to Help Senator Nelson

Share

The Senate race between term-limited Florida Governor Rick Scott and Senator Bill Nelson is expected to be the most closely watched and the most expensive race in the upcoming midterm election. So far, Governor Scott has released several advertisements in Spanish and English attacking Senator Nelson on being a "career politician" and attacking him on his negative contribution economy.

Now, Priorities USA Action and Democratic Senate Majority PAC are joining forces on a $600,000 digital advertisement campaign that'll highlight Senator Nelson's work when it comes to Medicare and Social Security.

The advertisements, a 15 second one called "Privatize" and a Spanish one titled "Pre-Existing Conditions," will tackle their respective issues.

The advertisements will be airing on Youtube, Pandora, social media sites, Google searches, and Hulu playing on a smart TV.

Guy Cecil, the Chairman of Priorities USA Action, commented on the campaign and explained that "Throughout his career in public service, Bill Nelson has fought for middle-class Floridians and their families time and time again. While some may go to Washington to try to get rich or push their ideological agenda, Bill Nelson shows up to work every day looking for ways to improve the lives of working people. Priorities and SMP are proud to support Senator Nelson with a digital campaign that highlights all that he has delivered for Florida.”
