Republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Putnam’s political committee raised at least $431,000 in February as the 2018 campaign continued to take shape. The Florida Grown committee is expected to play a key role for Putnam during the campaign and had about $14 million on hand as of Jan. 31, according to a report filed with the state Division of Elections.
The committee has not filed a February report with the state but lists contributions on its website. Large contributions during the month included $97,000 from St. Louis beverage distributor August A. Busch and $75,000 from an Associated Industries of Florida PAC, according to the website.
