After President Trump suspended the President Obama’s executive order granting temporary residency for 800,000+ DACA kids, the clock keeps ticking for the U.S. Congress to pass bipartisan immigration legislation that the president can sign into law, and make those kids legal residents.
One of the staunchest supporters of the Dream Act, Florida Senator Bill Nelson (D), took the senate floor to call for his colleagues in the that chamber to come together and find a “reasonable and bipartisan agreement “on DACA legislation by weeks’ end.
They only know America as their country, and we owe it to them to enact permanent protection and a path to citizenship. -Sen. Bill Nelson
“The Dreamers need to know that we appreciate them, and now we are going to turn that appreciation into law,” said Nelson.
While both Republicans and Democrats support legislation addressing DACA kid and their parents who brought them here illegally, Republicans want the immigration debate to be specific to DACA and not a broader immigration reform measure. Democrats on the other hand want to address the entire immigration reform issue.

We as Americans and Floridians owe nothing to the "kids". They entered this country illegally and should be deported along with their parents.Senator Nelson, You "owe" only American citizens your support.
As a "legal" immigrant some 35 years ago, I agree that our Senator should focus his efforts in support of legal residents!
