Controversial Rep. Ilhan Omar (D) has once again managed to enrage Americans, as the freshman congresswoman referred to the terrorists that perpetrated the 9/11 attacks as simply being "some people" who "did something."

Omar made the remark at a event for Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” Omar said at the event.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (D) called out Omar's previous anti-Semitic trope, "all about the Benjamins" in referring to some members of Congress being bought and paid for by the pro-Israel group, AIPAC.

Omar's string of anti-Israel tropes, and now this highly insensitive and pro-Al-Qaeda statement has painted a very disturbing pattern of  behavior, and could bring to question her overall mindset.
