When Andrew Gillum lost to now-Gov. Ron DeSantis in the hotly contested 2018 gubernatorial sweepstakes in Florida, millions of Americans, including political junkies, wondered what would be the popular Gillum’s next move.

Month’s after the election, Gillum announced that he and the organization Forward Florida, would be taking on the initiative to register to vote 1 million new voters to “flip Florida blue” and defeat President Donald Trump in 2020.

But with a professional cut new campaign video to promote his new endeavor, it’s hard not to wonder if Gillum is using this platform to position himself as a potential vice presidential running mate for the Democratic presidential nominee.

Chances are that this thought has probably crossed Gillum's mind.

Gillum would be a natural choice for any presidential nominee, after all, he has high statewide name identification in the ultimate of swing states, he is very articulate, he can raise money, but most of all, he is a minority figure head.

Could 2020 bring us Sanders/Gillum, Biden/Gillum, or maybe even BETO/Gillum?
