The 2018 Florida mid-term election recount continues, and the embattled Broward County Supervisor of Elections, Dr. Brenda Snipes, has said that the machine recount effort will conclude on time.

Snipes made the remark days after glitches in the recount process delayed the actual recount of 714,000 ballots cast this election cycle.

That’s great news for Americans, but considering this office’s elections track record, it’s probably safe for voters to take a wait and see approach.

Because of the apparent “incompetence” displayed by Dr. Snipes in past elections, more and more Republican politicians like Senator Marco Rubio and former Governor Jeb Bush, who appointed Snipes in the first place, have called for her ouster or resignation.

This level of in competence gives us no confidence about anything in regard to that office. - Sen. Marco Rubio

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has injected herself into the election calamity, and confirmed to Sean Hannity that there is now an open criminal investigation into Florida’s 2018 mid-term elections.

Bondi, who says she has her prosecutors “on the ground in Lauderdale” and has directed the FDLE to investigate all possible criminal actions, said she would not “go into (talk about) the criminal investigation.”

Senator Rubio also told Hannity that election attorneys are not in Florida to make sure voters are represented, but to look after their respective client’s best interests.

Rubio has been criticized by his colleagues, namely Democratic Rep. Ted Deutch, for his assertions that fraud has occurred during the election.

Rubio says that he only wants to see “every legal vote that was cast in timely manner,” counted.
