Voters expect GOP to retain control of U.S. Congress in new CNN Poll

Most, if not all political indictors suggest that Democrats will take back the House from Republicans. Polls across the board show Democrats increasing their public opinion support over the GOP

The latest CNN poll shows that in a generic ballot, Democrats lead Republicans by 13 points, with 54% of likely midterm election voters saying that they would not vote Republican.

One bright sign for Republicans is that 50% of those polled expect the GOP to retain control of the U.S. Congress, even though most polls show that Democrats should win control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
